Spiritual Awakening: Celebrate Life By Lifting People Up
I saw this quote and I immediately thought of the people that will be honored on Saturday 3/24/12 at The Spiritual Entrepreneurs Visionary Awards and how they are lifting up the people in the communities where they live, work and play. Each honoree has an amazing story and by attending the event you will have a chance to meet them and be inspired by them and be lifted by the experience. When we lift up others we also lift ourselves for we celebrate life by lifting people up. Think about it after a big football game the winning team usually carries a coach off the field on their shoulders. I am figuratively lifing our honorees up on my shoulders to show tem respect and admiration.

I choose to feature Up With People today because I remember when they came to The City Of Coral Springs and the impact they made. I had the opportunity to assist with the many projects they were doing in our community and I was very moved by the sacrifices these young people were making to be of service and value to the world. Their journey was definitely a mission of hope, peace, love, and happiness. I included The video Smile Until It Hurts to show how polarizing this group was. Now in its 44th year Up With People continues to spread the message of education through service. They truly exemplify the ideals that service to hunanity is the best work of life by celebrating life and lifting people up.
I chose this Up With People Video as I think it important for us to celebrate life by lifting people up.

What does it take to be a lifter who will celebrate life by lifting people up:
1: A kind heart to lead you to give and receive kindness
2: A vision to help other people excel
3: A never give up and never give in attitude
4: An appreciation of what you have
5: Sharing your gifts
6: A platform to recognize people and to encourage them
7: A smile
There are many opportunities to be a lifter and to celebrate life by lifting people up. It is when we do for others without expectation of a return that the greatest rewards are given. Make a list of what you are doing to lift people up and celebrate yourself. Think of what one thing you can do to lift people up.
