In his song I Got A Name, Jim Croce, reminds us of our uniqueness and our responsibility to share our talents with the world. I recently found out that my name Jonathan means sent from GOD and that my Hebrew Name Yussel Simcha means John The Blessing. I reflected and decided that it was time to embrace this calling and to take action by having an awakening that I have the ability to change the world and improve the human condition by simply embracing my uniqueness. I ask you what makes you unique, how do you stand out what tallents do you have that you are not sharing? What is stopping you from coming alive and making your community a better place? What dreams have you put on hold because someone was discouraging instead of encouraging?
When his teacher asked him when he was in the 4th grade what he wanted to be, Arian Foster said an NFL Player. The teacher shrugged and said he would never do it, however Arian held on to his dream and realized he had a unique ability and continued to hone his skills and embrace the possibilities. Arian now plays for The Houston Texans, who just advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs because of his contributions. Arian has a unique touchdown celebration where he stops and does a Namaste Pose thus acknowledging the divine in him recognizing the divine in you. Arian also changed to a vegan diet and says it has definitely enhanced his performance on the field. Off the field Arian Foster gives back to his community and inspires children to not allow those that say you can’t do it to influence your decisions. Arian is a living example that earth’s great treasure lies in human personality. His commitment to following his dream shows us all that we are unique and that we can be a shining light to others.

You are destined for greatness and when you embrace your power and uniqueness you will find that you have found your authentic self.
