Spiritual Awakening: Changing The Tide!!!

As we awaken spiritually we begin to understand that we have the capability to change the tide of our life. Sometimes it is just a matter of changing out latitudes and our attitudes and taking action in a different manner so as to achieve the goals we have set for ourselves. As we continue on our spiritual journey we become more and more awake and aware of the possibilities to soar to heights that many feel impossible. If we are to change the tide we must first strengthen our relationship with GOD so that we can use our inner divinity guidance system to bring peace, love, joy, and prosperity into our lives. We must put some anthems in our play list so that we stay focused, centered, and grounded on living a life of purpose.
I have come to learn that when you trust in the lord you will soar on eagles wings. When you turn to your spiritual teachings and adopt the mantra that service to humanity is the best work of life and you dedicate your life work to showing others that the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations you will find that much bliss and abundance come to you. When you decide to use your talents for good you can change the tide of your life and shine your light so bright that you illuminate the world. I have come to realize the importance of going to places where you are celebrated not just tolerated. I have come to learn that when you come alive and are filled with spirit and a desire to change your community that you will encounter some challenges as not everyone will be receptive to what you are doing and not understand the value that you are bringing to the table. There will be times that challenge you and it seems like you are swimming against the tide. When these challenges arise stop for a moment take a deep breath and change your direction.

Spiritual Awakening:Out Here On My Own!!!

Sometimes as you take action upon having a spiritual awakening you will find that you feel like you are out here on your own. Then one day you realize that you are not alone that you have ascended masters, GOD, Jesus, and Angels that are guiding you and bringing people into your life that will help you to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually.  Some of these people will be people that you never expected to cross paths with. Such was the case when I met Irene Cara at the 25th Anniversary Celebration of The Movie, Fame, while I was working for The Happy Herald, a monthly newspaper that only promotes good and positive news. I had the pleasure of interviewing Irene Cara who I had long admired. After I sent her the article she sent me a photo and I realized that we both had lifted each other that day. When I feel I am alone I look for some of Irene’s Songs and I get re-energized realizing that there are many people doing good deeds and that we are all famous in GOD’S eyes.

Sometimes we will be viewed as being out there and a bit off but it is important to understand that has always been the ones perceived to be crazy that have met with success. So many ties we are so set in our effort to fit in that we forget that we were not put here on this earth to fit in but we were put here to stand out. People may look at you and perceive you to be a maniac because you decided to take action and wear a sneaker that makes a statement like my Purple Beat Cancer Chuck Taylor All Stars. You may feel you are all alone when in reality there are many that want to get involved but they haven’t found a way to do so. Through the spiritual awakening process you will find that you will become more clear in your purpose and those that perceive you to be a maniac haven’t learned to get to know you. Remember it is not your job to bring them kicking and screaming onto the path that leads to enlightenment but to simply shine your light and illuminate the world understand that when they are ready they will get on the path.

Spiritual Awakening: Allowing GOD To Speak Through You!!!

In this scene from Joyful Noise the choir director tells the group that I want to hear GOD through you. As I watched the scene I began to ask how are you allowing GOD to speak through you? I started to reflect and realized that when you are GOD centered all things work out. I started to think when you do the right thing and are righteous in all you do GOD will prosper you. I have experienced this so many times. Just recently a team I work for told me they couldn’t pay me for the work I was doing in their office and that they may not be able to afford me to be their announcer. I thought wow I have been loyal to them from day 1 and this is how they are treating me and then I realized it was GOD’s way of telling me to move forward an work with those who truly appreciate my value. As I got home  I checked my Facebook page and there was a message from someone I have worked with and who has always appreciated me and helped me asking if I could work with her tomorrow (11/1/2015) and she would pay $100. I said yes and realized that GOD will make up for any money list from the team and that it is time to use my talents to prosper myself so I could then be of service and value to others.

As I sat in prayer and asked GOD to help me pick up free lance work he has started to deliver as my insurance agent wants some help with social media and will be using me at least once a month. GOD is able to direct us as look as we ask and follow his message.  I have learned that when things seem to be the darkest GOD is there to make them bright. What seems as being taken for granted may just be the sign that it is time to move on and pursue the purpose that GOD has for us. It is when we take the action to tap into our inner divinity that we are able to let GOD  speak through us thus allowing us to step into our power and  shine our light that we illuminate the world.

As you ask JESUS to shine down on you he will give the tools and the talents that will allow GOD to speak through you. It is when you detach from what might happen and just allow things to happen that you become more spiritually aware and awake. As we begin to really connect with GOD we see things very differently and we begin to find more peace, love, joy, and prosperity. When we truly peel back our outer shell and begin to show the world our authentic self we begin to thrive and  add more bliss and abundance in our lives.  It is when we choose to not sweat the small stuff and to remember it is all small stuff that we can better embrace the idea that if GOD brought us to it GOD will bring us through it.  When we let go and let GOD we allow GOD to speak through us and thus we improve the world simply by be kind and loving. It is when we understand that things don’t happen to us they happen for us that we can open our heart, mind, and soul and allow him to speak through us. So when you are questioning why something is unfolding the way it is remember that it is part of GOD’s master plan to speak through us.

Spiritual Awakening: Sunrise Sunset!!!

 Today’s entry is inspired by The Fiddler On The Roof song, Sunrise Sunset as it illustrates many of the aspects of the spiritual awakening process. In our spiritual development we will be given many opportunities to reflect and in reflecting learn so that we can move forward on our path toward enlightenment. If we break it down further we can look at it in a daily perspective as when the sunrises say this is the day that the lord hath made be glad and rejoice in in it. Then as the day unfolds come from a position of gratitude and watch what positive things begin to happen. As the sunsets we can then thank GOD for the day and reflect on all the good things that happened for us. Then as we turn in for the night we can relish in the fact that joy comes in the morning. In taking action to come from a position of gratitude, peace, love, and joy  we can enjoy all of our sunrises and sunsets.

So many times while we are in the sunrise of our life we look toward tomorrow and sometimes we miss out on the great things that are happening for us today. Sometimes we get so caught up in making plans we miss out on the peace, love, joy, and prosperity which is happening right now for us. As we celebrate our sunrises we must take action to live our life on purpose so that every ember of our being shines bright for others to see so that we can illuminate the entire world. As we celebrate our sunrises we must also hope that when we experience the sunset that it is not our last. On the day of your last sunset will you be able to reflect and I say I lived a life of joy and my life brought joy to others. If you are able to do this then you can say to GOD, The Ascended Masters, The Angels, and all who that have entered The Kingdom Of GOD that you lived a complete life.
With each day a new sunrises giving us the chance to be of  service and value. Many times we get so caught up with the noise that we do not hear the real message that GOD and The Angels is delivering. We get so trapped by the human existence that we forget to let the sun shine in and become the spiritual beings that we are. When we become more in tune with our spiritual self we are able to create a bond of mind, body, and spirit that creates a oneness consciousness where peace, love, and understanding rule the day. When the sunrises and we are answering our calling and being the change we want to see in the world our sunsets become more and more beautiful and  our final sunset is then magnificent as GOD prepares a place in his kingdom for us to dwell for ever and ever.

As we celebrate our days cherishing the sunrises and the sunsets we will often find ourselves wishing for one more day with those that GOD has called home. Well each day you can have a day with them knowing that they are angels watching over you and that you can simply speak to them and you will feel their presence giving you that one more day that you sought to celebrate another sunrise and another sunset.

From every sunrise and every sunset let your light shine. Each day  find a way to come alive and be of service and value to the community and make it a goal to touch at least one life by letting your light shine. When you do this each and every sunrise and sunset will pleasurable. It is when we make it a point to embrace our spirituality and move forward  in a positive direction toward your goals and dreams that you will be fulfilled.

In every sunrise and every sunset remember that the sun shines on your shoulder and even in a rainstorm there is a bit of sunshine there to warm you. Let the sunshine on your shoulder and be a beacon of hope for others to see daily.

 As you experience the sunrise tae a moment and breathe and then commit to making the day the best day possible. At sunset take a moment to sit in quiet reflection remembering all the good that happened in the day. In doing this and practicing gratitude you will see that not only has your life been brightened but you have brightened up the lives of others. Namaste!!!

Spiritual  Awakening: Rising Up!!!

 

 Today we mark Good Friday and The 1st Night Of Passover. The coincidence of this is the fact that The Lat Supper was actually a Passover Seder showing us that we are more alike than we are different and that we are all spiritually interconnected. Through the spiritual awakening process we begin to see that we are all divine children of GOD and no one way of thinking is better than the other. In taking action to show reverence to GOD we come together for the betterment of our community. On Passover we  eat Matzah as The Israelites did not have time to let the dough of the bread rise but it also marks a time when The Israelites rose up to take on Pharaoh and escape slavery. Easter marks the great rising of Jesus Christ, The Savior, who became the ultimate lamb to erase and forgive our sins helping those who believe to be redeemed.

 When you feel distracted or like you are going off your spiritual path take a breath and rise up by embracing your inner divinity and then coming from a position of joy so that you can get back on your journey to success. We must look at ourselves as being divine children of GOD with amazing capabilities of being of service and value to others. When we understand the idea of redemption and forgiveness fully we grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. We have been redeemed and GOD will watch over us and protect us just as he did The Israelites on their journey out of Egypt provided that we honor and praise him in all that we do.

 Though The Israelites were freed from physical slavery how many of hold ourselves mentally enslaved due to limiting beliefs and thus create blockages the stop us from creating the life that we desire?  In is when we realize that we can achieve anything we put our mind to by rising up and fending off the negative self talk and moving forward despite what the naysayers have to say. If The Israelites would have bought into the idea that they couldn’t fight Pharaoh they may still be in captivity. Ask what may be holding you captive then rise up and defeat it.

Spiritual Awakening: Action, Action, We Want Action!!!

 I must have been about 11 years old and in middle school when I first heard the cheer A-C-T-I-O-N Action, Action, Action We Want Action.  At the time I did not realize the impact that cheer would have on my however through the spiritual awakening process I have learned that it takes action to create the life one desires.  I then heard this song by Elvis and I began to think how appropriate as if we want to find love we must take action to be love and to pursue love. If we are truly to awaken spiritually and become aware of the divinity that we possess we must begin by taking action. In all we do we must take action steps to manifest what we desire. One of those action steps can be to set your intentions in writing and then to take the action necessary to turn that intention into reality. In one of my workshops I speak about if it is in sight in can be put into flight but if it is out of sight it is out of mind. Right now as you are reading this take out a piece of paper and write down 3 intentions for the week, then write down action steps to take to bring this intention to fruition.  I have been using this method for several years and I can tell you that when I write a statement starting with I Will I accomplish what I wrote.

Heroes finish the fight.Last year I wrote that I will raise $1500 for The American Cancer Society  Relay For Life Of West Boca Raton and I saw that intention everyday. I took daily action and as a result I raised $2557. This year I wrote that I will raise $3000 and I am taking daily action to reach this goal. The 2015 American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton will take place on May 2, 2015 from 12 PM – 12 AM at The St. Jude Catholic Church in Boca Raton. As of today (11/3/2014) I have raised $977 and continue to ask people to visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2 and support this effort.  In taking action you will move forward in a positive direction of your goals. In sharing your purpose and story you will attract people who want to help you.

When I first heard about The South Florida Gold last year I called and auditioned to be their Public Address Announcer and I was hired.

Spiritual Awakening: Taking The First Step!!!

 Have you ever been around a parent when their child takes their first step? The euphoria they express is amazing, the positive energy it puts out into the universe sends shock waves of positivity up and down the spine of all that have witnessed this milestone. That joyous occasion is very similar to the first step someone has when they experience a spiritual awakening.  The energy shift that you have when you experience a spiritual awakening is incredible as you begin to shift and become a better person. The connection of mind body and spirit is strengthened through the first step of spiritual awakening.  The first step is to understand that their is a GOD that is guiding you and who wants you to experience prosperity. It is through the building of the relationship with GOD that you open up the GOD inside of you and began to experience The Oneness Conscience that allows you to expand by embracing your inner divinity. It is when you become an action taker and awakening spirituality with the recognition that you are a divine child of GOD with a purpose that your journey toward spiritual enlightenment begins. It is by answering your calling that you can affect change in your personal and professional life thus coming alive and shining your light bright to inspire and empower others.

Spiritual Awakening: Ways To Take The First Step!!!!

 Through meditation and understanding that we are made up of energy and that this energy flows into us and out of us and affects our personal and professional lives allows us to take that first step in recognizing our own divinity.

Putting a spirit of positivity into our heart and releasing this fire to the universe will assist you in taking the first step.
