Spiritual Awakening: Trick Or Treating With A Purpose!!!

 

Just For Halloween – 2012 Halloween Light Show – Gangnam Style1810-trick-or-treat-2880x1800-holiday-wallpaper.jpg As I awoke today I was given a message on this Halloween to Trick Or Treat With A Purpose!!!! Though I am 49 years old and a little bit old to go door to door I answered this call from my spiritual guides and began to post the following message on Facebook and Twitter, TRICK OR TREAT Instead of candy I am asking everyone to visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2 and donate to help those affected by cancer. I put it out there and detached from all expectations and decided to just let it flow as it may and  understand that those meant to donate will visit the site and make a donation. As I continued through the morning posting this message I received the message to go to Starbucks like I do each Friday but instead of giving out hugs today hang a sign that says Strike Out Cancer Today and to dress up as a baseball player and to play the role of relief pitcher.  I made a sign on my computer and went to Starbucks, where I am now writing this entry from. Again I am detaching from the expectations and just allowing things to flow and those that are meant to come my table will do so and make a donation and any money collected will be more than I had when I started.  The idea is to use the resources we have to Trick Or Treat With A Purpose Today!!! We have a great opportunity to spread our message and to shine our light so that the entire world becomes illuminated.

il_570xN.499073771_b7vf.jpgImagine there is a knock on the door and as you hand out the candy you hand out sheets with bible verses on them as well. If not bible verses perhaps affirmations or quotes. This will allow you to share your spiritual awakening with others and perhaps help people to either get on a spiritual path or to continue on their spiritual path, You may get some blow back by taking this action to share your message. Another great thing to do is to hand out messages from the ascended masters and explain that Jesus is an ascended master. In using Halloween and trick or treating as a catalyst to spread the word you will be trick or treating with a purpose.

Spiritual Awakening: Lighting Flames!!!!

 

Today’s entry was inspired by Suzanne Kovi who is teaching people how to ignite their lives and light flames of success. Suzanne has inspired many on their journey toward spiritual awakening and enlightenment. Suzanne truly embodies the ideals of being an action taker. Each time I interact with her or see her on my Facebook feed I am reminded that everyday on our journey it is important to light the flames that drive us forward and to keep fanning those flames so that they create an inferno inside of us that burns for as long as we are on this earth.

 When getting fired up ask yourself what is it that makes you come alive and move passionately in the direction of the flames that you are lighting. It is through our spiritual awakening that we get on the path to being fired up and when we commit to light the flames we find a success that we never imagined. Ralph Waldo Emerson once said “Nothing Great Was Ever Accomplished Without Enthusiasm,”  and this is so true as most successful people who have embarked on a spiritual journey have done it with enthusiasm. The key is for you to be so fired up that you are consumed with your spiritual mission so that you understand your purpose. The biggest question we seek an answer to is why are we here?

Spiritual Awakening: Being Forever Young!!!

 Today’s blog post was inspired by the band One Direction and their song Forever Young. The song reminds us of our spirituality and how we all want to be forever young. As we continue on our path of spiritual awakening we can be forever young. The first step is to embrace that inner child that would get excitted when the icecream truck would come through the neighborhood and you had the $.50 to buy a treat. When we allow our inner child to play we set out vibrations  that create a larger spiritual awakening as we begin to attract those that will help us to flourish and thrive. I recently attended The Superstar Sumitt and was involved in a presentation and I did a roundoff.  I took this action not thinking of what others would think. I was in the moment and felt liberated to just be me and not have to put on heirs to impress anyone as I realized I am enough. Through out the day I allowed my inner child to come out and overall it was a productive day. By being authentic and letting people see who you truly are a divine child of GOD with a purpose you will attract the people meant to be in your life.  I have allowed my inner child to come out on many occassions and sometimes it hasn’t gone over to well as some people just don’t get it and probably never will. It is not our job to drag people kicking and screaming into a spiritual awakening it is our duty to shine our light to allow others to see. It is when we shine our light that we give others permission to shine their light.

Spiritual Awakening: Finding A Fountain Of Inspiration

 As I was deciding on what to blog about today to help those on their spiritual path to enhance their personal and professional lives  I jumped on YouTube and I found this fountain of inspiration. As I began to drink from this fountain I began to think about all those who inspire others and how they are adding to the fountain of inspiration.

 In this fountain of inspiration I found this video and the affirmations. I then remembered the scene in Dead Poet’s Society, where Robin Williams Character, Mr.Keating, reminds us to Carpe Diem ( Seize The Day).
 You have the opportunity to seize the day and drink from your own fountain of inspiration.As you become inspired and you awaken and accept that you are destined for greatness you will begin to see changes in your personal and professional life and your light will shine brightly on others.
