Spiritual Awakening: What Are You Waiting For?

Spiritual Awakening: What Are You Waiting For?

Today’s entry was inspired by Nickelback’s song what are you waiting for? In the spiritual awakening process it is important to become an action taker and do things with a sense of purpose and passion. I have learned over the years that you either find a way or you find an excuse. It is said that the wealthiest people are found in a cemetery as their ideas and dreams died with them because they kept waiting or they listened to the naysayers. So many times people do not embrace their spiritual gifts and GOD Given Talents that it becomes to late because as they sit on their death bed recounting what could have been, what might have been, or what they should have been their time runs out. To avoid any regrets in your final days take action on your idea implement it and see what happens. Sometimes you just have to take it to the streets.

Collinsville Relay for Life kicks of Jan. 23 A few years ago I had an idea to run POINTS FOR THE CURE FOOTBALL EDITION and I was doing it every week with not so much success so this year I tweaked the idea and I am now taking it to the streets to be run from 10/22-28/2014 where people will choose their favorite College or Professional Football Team and after they play will visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2 and donate $.25 (25 cents) per point that their team scored.  I have been utilizing a 3 foot rule where I share this information. Many people have been receptive and think it is a great idea as it combines something they like watching with helping a good cause. The key is to come up with the idea then implement it and make changes so it evolves.  I have learned that in all you do you must take action and take it to the streets. Let people hear your message and build their trust as people want to engage with people they know, like, and trust.  Ask yourself why am I hesitating, what am I waiting for then take action and start. Sometimes it is turning to GOD ans seeking to have a fire started in you.

Spiritual Awakening: The Signs of Being Awake

Spiritual Awakening: The Signs of  Being Awake

If you look at the 12 symptoms of awakening you realize that we are all evolving on our spiritual path to fufilling the goal of being aware and awake. When you wake in the morning are the first words out of your mouth Thank You GOD? An awakened person acknowledges the creation of another day to make a positive impact on their life and the lives of others. ONe sign of being awake is the shift to a position of gratitude.

As I began my spiritual awakening I began to become more grateful for the things that I have and the opportunities that are unfolding daily. I keep a gratitude journal and am gratefulto my friend and coach, Coach Shantel Springer, who showed me tools to come from a position of gratitude.

Coach Shantel Springer Helps people to take the first step to becoming awake and that is to assume a position of gratitude mand to give thanks to GOD.

After assuming the position of gratitude and practicing it everyday the next step is to find ways to love yourself so you can love others. When I get up in the morning I say I am a loving caring person who positively impacts my life and the lives of others. I then shower and get dressed and then turn on Janet Lee Kraft’s CD:  I then read The Rev. Dr. Dee Adio-Moses Oneness Consciousness, then I read Mary Morrisey’s The Miracle Minute. When I do this I feel aware and alive and ready to be a shining light to those I come in contact with.
