Spiritual Awakening: Get Off The Bench!!!

As we experience a spiritual awakening we must commit to become an action taker and get off the bench. There comes a time when we must simply put ourselves in center field and prepare for the world to see our light shining bright. So many times we get so caught up with worry about what will other people think that we keep ourselves on the bench. As a result of sitting on the bench and forgetting everything and running we create blockages that stop us from having the success that GOD has intended for us. It is only when we take action to face everything and rise by committing to getting off the bench that we manifest the live we want as divinely guided by GOD.  Through a spiritual awakening we learn that we are talented beyond measure and when we use our talents for good we create a life that id filled with peace, love, joy, and prosperity. Every time we decide to get off the bench and take action we will be greeted with challenges. It is in overcoming these challenges that we grow personally, professionally, and spiritually knowing that if GOD brought us to it GOD will bring us through it. It is when we decide to get off the bench and look at everything in a positive light tat we begin to find more happiness and success in what we do. It is when we decide to get off the bench and play the game by our rules that we create bliss and abundance.

What game will you play to manifest the life that you desire. Will you be an action taker or an excuse maker? Will you go against the norm and play by your own rules not worrying what others think or will you succumb to the pressure of what is perceived as normal  and hold yourself back? The choice lies with you and if you choose to tap into your inner divinity and be guided by GOD, The Ascended Masters, and the Angels you will see that the game you play will be one filled with many victories. Each day you have a choice you can sit on the bench wondering what might have been or you can get off the bench and see what will be. Every day you have 86,400 seconds in the day to get off the bench and to take action to answer your calling.
Make this a year where you get off the bench and use your time wisely. It is when you vibrate with love and commit to doing small things with great love that you begin to shine a bright light that illuminates the world. When you get off the bench you put forces in motion to help you move positive in the direction of your dreams.  Make your season a season where you are guided by love and compassion and you will see that love and compassion is given back to you. Be one who is genuine in your desire to be of service and value. Seek ways where you will vibrate on a higher level that attracts people and things to you to help you in exceeding your goals and objectives.  Get off the bench and be limitless.

Spiritual Awakening: Pay Attention and  Engage!!!

As you reflect on your interactions with people do you often say I wish I would have engaged with that person? How many opportunities are you missing because you are so wrapped up in the outer appearance of someone or the materialistic trappings of someone?  I was at a seminar a few years back and tried to engage with a few people who basically blew me off and then I was invited to attend a gratitude workshop which I did and one of the presenters was a women who had blown me off. I didn’t let the emotions of her blowing me off affect  my participation and I kept fully engaged. As we went to walk the labyrinth I stopped by a booth that had oracle cards and I struck up a conversation with the person at the both. I went to walk the labyrinth and afterward the presenter pulled me aside and said I am sorry I looked past you a few weeks ago at the other seminar. I later did a one on one session with this presenter and she said wow you taught  me a valuable lesson to look beyond the outer and look to the inner. The key is pay attention and engage make all your interactions positive by having the goal of being of service and value to the people you are engaging with. Remember not everyone will resonate with you and not everyone will engage with you but those who pay attentions and engage will be the one’s whose lives are enriched.

take time to pay attention and engage as there will come a time when you find yourself wishing for one more day to spend with someone that is now an angel in heaven. As you go about living your life everyday look for ways to lift someone up by spreading positivism and kindness for there will be a time when you reflect and wish you would have done something for the people who GOD called home. Take a moment to pay attention and engage with those who you come in contact so when their final day comes or your final day comes you have no regrets. People will come from miles and miles to attend a funeral and give flowers and say nice things when someone is called home to GOD I say don’t wait until that moment do it while they are living. Take action to pay attention and engage. I remember everyone complaining about how difficult it was to deal with my grandmother and how she rubbed everyone the wrong way and how great it was that I made it a point to visit her and take her out of her assisted living facility to do lunch or dinner on occasion I said no big thing that is what you do for those you love you pay attention and you engage. My Grandmother has been an angel in heaven for many years and while some still complain about how she was I remember the moments that I paid attention and engage.

When you stop and pay attention and engage you positively impact the lives of others in ways far beyond your imagination. Each time you help someone you help yourself as you grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. In stopping to pay attention and engaging yo begin to attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life. Today I was at Dunkin Donuts writing this blog when a women asked if I could buy her a donut. In the past I would have said now but today I reached into my pocket and gave her $1.25 in quarters without hesitation in doing this I knew that I would be rewarded in the long term as when you give without expectation of return you receive. It is my hope that everyone  who reads this will find a way to do a kind deed and share it in the comments so we can encourage others to pay attention and engage.

It is when we pay attention and we engage that we become aware and awake and thus we are able to touch the lives of those around us and find  a purpose for why we are here. It is in becoming a lifter that you are lifted.

Spiritual Awakening: 9-11-13 Moving Forward!!!!

 

 Alan Jackson ask us where we were on 9-11-2001 when the earth stopped turning as we watched in horror and disbelief as The United States of America was attacked. I was preparing to go to work at The Vista School as I was one of their substitute teachers. I remember getting to school to find parents, kids, and the staff in a state of anguish. School was cancelled for the day. I told the principal I could stay and be a set of ears and she said okay. I took a deep breath and made a decision to help people move forward. That day I didn’t have the answers as to why this happened and 12 years later I still don’t.  On that day 12 years ago I shared with all those who I knew that perhaps this was GOD’S way of alerting us and waking us up that we as people have an obligation to come together and make the world a better place. It was a wake up call to move forward and get in touch with our spirituality and to embrace the spiritual awakening.  Here we are 12 years after the attack and we still have many issues that are in need of being addressed so we can realize that we as people are more alike than we are different.  It is a time to move forward. It is a time tom honor those who stepped up on that day and continue to step up to help us to move forward in our quest to make a positive difference in the lives of others while enhancing our personal and professional life. We will not change the events that happened 12 years ago, however in moving forward we can change the way we conduct ourselves and how we treat each other.  In moving forward and putting judgment aside we begin to better understand that spiritual awakenings and messages are occurring around us all the time.

 In remembering 9-11-2001 we also begin to understand that the message of this day that created a spiritual awakening in many is to roll forward. Neil Young’s song Let’s Roll gives us all a clear cut message to take action. Is there something that you have been putting off because of fear of what may happen. For the passengers on United Flight 93 they knew they had to do something, they paid the ultimate price, Those brave action takers saved many lives as they sacrificed their own. Their actions moved many to move forward and take action to make a difference in their communities. Today as the names were read I visualized the people watching the remembrance service having a spiritual awakening and making a commitment to move forward.
