Spiritual Awakening: Joy To The World!!!!
When I awakened spiritually I knew that there would be certain anthems that would propel me to take action to move in the positive direction of my dreams. This song has always been one of my favorites for Christmas. As I discovered my calling I realized that if I wanted things to change around me that I had to change the ways I did things and how I reacted to things. As I began to come alive due to this spiritual awakening I began to understand why GOD had directed to do all the community service that I did and continue to do. Through my spiritual awakening I made a commitment to spread joy to others. In order to spread joy to others I had to find the joy in me. Even through the loss of my mother on July 5, 2012 I was able to find joy and comfort knowing that she may be gone from the physical realm but I can communicate with her in the spiritual realm and that she will always be with me. My mom loved Christmas and went out of her way to make sure that our family was always together and that we always did something to spread joy to the world. When my Mom was alive she would always attend The Jaycees Christmas Shopping Spree for Needy Children and I would always make sure she had a young girl to shop with as she really wanted a daughter. One year I mentioned to my mom that I was going over to pick up a food donation and she handed me $ 50 and said buy extra with this and I did. Those memories of that time together and other time spent during the holidays motivate me today to carry on by being of service and value to others so as to bring joy to the world.
When we spread joy to the world and give the glory to GOD great things begin to happen for us. I often quote ” All Things Are Possible Through Christ Who Strengthens Me,” and have found that by following a spiritual path I have more joy in my life. In the past I would focus on those things that were negative and ask why now I focus on the positive and the joy and give praise and thanks. It is when you make a conscious decision to be joyful that you begin to understand and fulfill your purpose.
Spiritual Awakening: Ways To Bring Joy To The World!!!
On of the best ways to bring joy to the world is to walk your talk and to shine your light bright before others. Some many times we get hung up on what others will say or think that we hold ourselves back. Stop worry about others will say or think and be true and authentic to yourself and watch the joy flow to you and from you.
Make a commitment to perform one random act of kindness and watch what happens. The positive feelings that your act of kindness will evoke will not only make others feel good but it will also having your feel good. Today I was at Starbucks and a young lady looked up at me at said hey I know you I painted a peace, love, and happiness sign on you at the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Baby and Family Expo. I asked her what she was studying and she stated Psychology. I interacted with her for a few minutes discussing John Paul Sartre, Maslow, Freud, and others and she thanked me as said I should be their teacher. I wished her Merry Christmas and she said same to you. This created a very positive feeling and others began to wish each other Merry Christmas. By being kind we create and attract kindness.
Showing gratitude opens up many channels to create joy in your life and in the lives of others. A Life Guide of mine, Coach Shantel Smith, taught me the importance of gratitude and each day that I express gratitude I find myself having a joyful day.
Use your talents for good and good will be given to you. You win when you enrich the lives of those you come in contact with.

As we enter Christmas Week let us find ways to spread joy to others and shine our lights bright by creating miracles and doing something daily for others. It is in the giving of ourselves that we are able to spread joy to the world and thus bring joy to ourselves. Spread Joy!!! Stay Positive!!
