Spiritual Awakening: Bob Dylan Sparks Change!!!!
Inspired by Bob Dylan’s songs Times They Are Changing and The Answer is Blowing in the Wind while I sat at Starbucks in Plantation, FL I got up took a walk outside and realized just how things are changing and that stepping outside to listen to nature and slow down for a moment how clear the answers come through. I asked a question about affecting change and then I sat down to receive the answer and it came with several messages like write about it, make a change in your life, and then spark others to change. Bob Dylan influenced many to make positive changes and recognized that change is always occurring around us and that the answers are also all around us. When you make a positive change in your life such as eliminating negative people and your own negative thoughts you begin to see things in a better light and then the answers you are seeking become clearer. Sometimes making a change is hard as you feel you are doing the right thing when in reality you are holding yourself back and thus need a spark for change. What or who is sparking a change in you?
Spiritual Awakening: How Are You Sparking Change?
This is a video for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life, which sparked me to answer the question of How Are You Sparking Change? My answer is by helping those affected by cancer and honoring my mother’s, Judith Miller, Memory. I am being an action taker and participating and emceeing The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton on February 23-24, 2013 at Logger’s Run Middle School. I have set up a web page at http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogglederman where people can help to spark change with a donation. It is said that when we help others to get what they want we get what we want. We spark change by taking action. It is when we become aware and awake that we have a power inside of us to spark change that we do just that.
Maragret mead sparked change with her writtings showing that when people come together and help each other the world changes. When we begin to look for opportunities to help others we begin to find opportunities to help ourselves. It is by giving that we receive. By giving of ourselves and using our talents for good we spark change.
When Mahatma Ghandi stated these words and encouraged people to be the change that they wanted to see in the world he moved an entire nation and changed they way people saw themselves. The way they looked at themselves changed and the way people looked at them changed. As a result an entire generation when from enslaved to empowered. This quote had sparked many people to make a positive change and thus their life has been improved.
Spiritual Awakening: Ways To Spark Change!!!
Hellen Keller overcame great obstacles to show that one person can make a difference and that they can do something great simply by taking positive action and having an anthem to be positive. As I sat down to write this I began to think of ways one can spark change and came up with the following.
1: Help others without expectation of a return.
2: Allow others to see your light and greatness.
3: Do as this Care Bear does and share.
4: Be loving and caring in all you do.
5: Be grateful in your daily activities.
6: Be kind and caring in what you do.
7: Donate your time, talents, or money to a cause you believe in.
8: Be a lifter, an encourager, a dream maker.
9: Share your truth be an example and show that service to humanity is the best work of life.
10: Believe in yourself and others.
