Spiritual Awakening: What Are You Looking At?

Many times during my spiritual awakening process I have been asked this question as I tend to look at people and smile. It is part of my outgoing personality and many times people do not know how to react to a stranger smiling at them. Instead of being cordial and saying hello they will become aggressive and I answer I was looking at you and sending positive energy to you. Most times this combats the initial negative energy that this question conjures up. Sometimes in taking action and stepping into our power we will encounter those who have not accepted the idea of being on a spiritual journey and thus don’t get it. Many people feel they are being judged or don’t realize that what they are wearing might peak the interest of others.

2012 NBPA Top 100 Camp Preview: Who Could Shine Today(9/3/2014) while at Starbucks working on this blog entry I walked by a gentleman who had this logo on his shirt I went to look closer and I explained I was reading the logo on his shirt as I do PA Announcing for The South Florida Gold. I gave him my business card and asked him what brought him to Starbucks. he answered and I told him about my TV Show, The Anything Bucket, which airs on www.wrpbitv.com on Tuesday at 6:30 PM EDT. He thought that was nice. I also met a woman who had a sticker A Pirates Life for Me on her laptop and I asked her about it and she took my business card and really liked my moniker,JDOGG. I told her about my TV Show. By looking around and being aware we find opportunities to be of service and value. We never know who we may be meeting or talking with so it is important to keep looking.

Always look on the bright side of life: In looking at the bright side of life and being grateful for another day we set in motion the elements that are necessary to improve our personal and professional life while enhancing the personal and professional life of others. In our quest to develop more spiritually and personally we must look at all things as they happen as happening for us and thus we look for the reasons and gain understanding so that we can move forward in the positive direction of our dreams. If you are a regular reader of this blog you know that in June of 2014 I was diagnosed with high blood pressure. At first I was upset then I stepped back took a breathe and meditated on the concept that this was a message from GOD to improve on my food choices and on my activities. As I changed from the idea of this sucks to this is really a blessing as it will allow me to make better choices on where I focus my attention and how I eat. As a result my health has improved. In changing the way I looked at the situation the situation changed since that day I have turned more and more to spiritual teachings.

Spiritual Awakening: Miami Heat Teaches Lesson During Winning Streak!!!!

As I watched the Miami Heat seek their 24th win in a row on Wednesday March 20, 2013 I began to doubt the team as they went down by 27 points with just over 8 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. The Heat was coming off a close comeback victory against The Boston Celtics and now were in a huge hole against The Cleveland Cavaliers. As I continued to doubt I began to realize that there was a lesson about to be learned if The Heat should pull this game out. Guess what The Heat pulled it off and won 98-95 to notch their 24th straight victory, the second best winning streak in NBA history. The Heat reinforced the adage that when you find yourself in a hole stop digging and starting finding a way out. They started climbing out of the hole when Shane Battier hit back to back 3 point shots and they continued to get stops and they cut the deficit to 9 going into the 4th quarter. The doubt began to subside as The Heat had been in this position many times before and won. The Heat would show us that having faith and removing doubt leads to a victory. Now the question is how do we continue to remove doubt on our path of spiritual awakening?

Spiritual Awakening: Applying The Lesson From The Miami Heat!!!

The Heat showed up to remove doubt and to move forward and allow things to flow and everything will be okay. The idea is to now apply this lesson. The next time you find yourself doubting yourself or others remember you are a divine child of GOD with the ability to take action and win in your personal and professional life. The next time you have fear or doubt enter the thought process sit back and breathe and remind yourself that you are capable beyond measure. Your spiritual awakening will unfold and move you in a positive direction when you remove the fear and doubt and allow life to unfold as it may and as GOD has intended. As the Heat mounted their comeback you could sense that there was a strong belief that they were going to win. Others may have been doubting but they knew in their hearts that they could overcome the 27 point deficit and continue on their winning streak. They made a dramatic change and started to hit their outside shots. They also went back to their greatest strength their tough defense. Their tenacity led them to overcome the doubters and to win. The Heat showed us that what the mind can conceive the heart can believe and you can achieve. The Heat will go for win #25 when they host the Detroit Pistons on Friday 3/22/13. What lessons will this game hold?
