Spiritual Awakening: Clearing The Hurdles Of Life!!!
As you experience a spiritual awakening you will find that their are many hurdles that you will be challenged to clear to manifest the results you desire. In some cases you will find that not everyone will support you and some will go to extremes to try to defeat you. When you begin to take action and live a life filled with passion and purpose you will encounter many people who will not agree with you or your methodology. Such was the case this week when someone who professes to be a professional wrote me a hateful and wrote a response filled with anger. I called to see what I could do to rectify the situation and was called an asshole, an idiot, told no one gives a shit about what I have to say, and to go f-myself. I told the gentleman that I am sorry he feels this way and and that I will happily remove him from my contact list. I started to think why do people act this way and then I realized that it is GOD’S way to send a message and teach a lesson. In this case GOD was telling me to find another way to solicit donations for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Boca Raton and to find people who resonate with my message. In taking action and reaching out to everyone I must remember that is is not my job to bring people kicking and screaming on to the path but to shine my light bright for them to see by being of service and value so that when they are ready to change and create a life that is enhanced personally, professionally, and spiritually that I am there to be a shining beacon of light to help illuminate the world.
The man did create a hurdle as my LinkedIn account has been restricted. As I write this entry the restriction is under appeal. As I took a moment to breathe an meditate on the situation I realized how important it is to remember that some will, some won’t, so what, some waiting, next because for every negative person that I encounter I find 8-9 that are open to assist with my endeavors. All my life I have been given hurdles and each time I have cleared them understanding that if GOD brought me to it GOD will bring me through it. In getting back to Don Miguel Ruiz’s Four Agreements and implementing them I have been able to move forward and exceed my goals.
By going deep inside and then applying these agreements I have been able to secure a part time job that frees me up to do volunteer work, to obtain guests for my TV Show, The Anything Bucket, which airs on www.wrpbitv.com on Tuesday at 6:30 PM EDT, and to continue to be of service and value to others. Theses 4 agreements have helped me to be centered, grounded, and focused as I move forward in a positive direction of my dreams.

I have found that songs like this are a great tool to help you overcome life’s hurdles. It is knowing that GOD loves you and that you are a divine child of GOD that will serve as your best tool to overcome life’s hurdle’s.
Spiritual Awakening: Bloom Where You Are Planted!!!
In the spiritual awakening process it is important to bloom where you are planted. So many times I have heard people well if I move to xyz from abc things will get better. Things will only get better if you commit to changing your self and the way you act. If you are bitter and angry nothing changes until you remove the bitterness and the anger. If you come from a position of lack nothing changes until you embrace the fact that their is an abundance being provided to you. The other day I was speaking to someone about being a guest on my TV Show, The Anything Bucket, which airs on www.wrpbitv.com on Tuesday at 6:30 PM EST. The conversation turned to the concept of how far down the rabbit hole do you want to go? As I hung up the phone I thought of Alice and Wonderland and her journey down the rabbit hole and how at the end her perspective had changed. She understood that wherever she ended up she would have to thrive there. You can move time and time again but until you remove personal and professional baggage that inhibits spiritual growth everything remains the same.
We have all heard the term the grass is greener on the other side. This is not true the grass is greener where you water it. To expand and grow one must look at and answer the question of how are you taking care of your grass. Are you embracing your divinity and creating a relationship with GOD? Are you nurturing yourself allow yourself to evolve? Many times we look at other people’s lives and see them as they are today and not where they came from or the journey they are traveling.
When you feel it in your heart and you commit to take action you begin a journey that will lead to a destiny. The joy truly comes when you decide to awaken spiritually and to start your journey to shine your light and to design the life that you want. It is said what the mind can conceive, the heart can believe, you can achieve. This is true however one must be willing to make a full commitment to walk in their truth and experience all that comes with the journey. I was asked today what I wanted to accomplish with this blog and my answer was to give people inspiration to continue on there spiritual journey and to help other people along the way. I then added if people visit and make donations to help me in my quest to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays while honoring my mother, Judith Miller’s, memory than that will be a bonus. My journey is not about making money my journey is about empowering and inspiring people understanding that by helping others get what they want I will get what I want.
Along the journey there will be some hurdles and some obstacles so it is important to remember that this is your journey and to relish in the joy along the way. In coming alive through your spiritual awakening you will begin to see changes in your personal and professional life. On my journey there have been many trials and tribulations however each experience contained a lesson or a message and by not quitting I have been able to find much joy along the way.
How many times have we fooled ourselves into believing something because of the Grand Illusion that has come to be known to us. This Grand Illusion has held us back sometimes because we were afraid to break free. It was when I had a Spiritual awakening that this a Grand Illusion began to fade. Upon realizing that life was a big Grand Illusion I decided that I would do things for the glory of GOD and Jesus and answer the two questions that really matter did I live my life in joy and did my life bring joy to others? Upon asking those questions and living a life of service and value I have found my life is happier. It was when I began to look beyond the Grand Illusion and inside myself that I began to achieve goals that brought me happiness and as a result enhanced the lives of others. In Ecclesiastes it speaks of doing good and being of service and by doing so GOD will reveal his purpose for you.
The group Chicago delivers a message of spiritual awakening through their song Only The Beginning. Though the song speaks of a new beginning in a relationship the lyric can be applied to our spiritual awakening and the spiritual path that we are on as when you awaken spiritually it is a new beginning and when you continue on the path each step is like a new beginning. Another song that speaks of a beginning is The Carpenters, We’ve Only Just Begun.
The Carpenters remind us that when we awakening spiritually our relationship with GOD is a new beginning. As you strive to have that oneness consciousness with GOD it is important to remember each day is a new beginning and to realize it is the day the lord hath made so be glad and rejoice in it. By acknowledging your spiritual awakening and embracing your divinity you will begin to see that this is only the beginning. As you continue to evolve spiritually you will begin to receive and act on messages that will take you to heights that you never imagined. It is said that everything is possible through GOD and this is true as GOD lives in us and through us giving us messages to act upon and deliver to others. It is acknowledging that we have only just begun that we begin to set in motion the action that will propel us to our greatness. It is in recognizing your calling and beginning to act on that calling that you will co-create the life you desire.
Spiritual Awakening: Miami Heat Teaches Lesson During Winning Streak!!!!
As I watched the Miami Heat seek their 24th win in a row on Wednesday March 20, 2013 I began to doubt the team as they went down by 27 points with just over 8 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. The Heat was coming off a close comeback victory against The Boston Celtics and now were in a huge hole against The Cleveland Cavaliers. As I continued to doubt I began to realize that there was a lesson about to be learned if The Heat should pull this game out. Guess what The Heat pulled it off and won 98-95 to notch their 24th straight victory, the second best winning streak in NBA history. The Heat reinforced the adage that when you find yourself in a hole stop digging and starting finding a way out. They started climbing out of the hole when Shane Battier hit back to back 3 point shots and they continued to get stops and they cut the deficit to 9 going into the 4th quarter. The doubt began to subside as The Heat had been in this position many times before and won. The Heat would show us that having faith and removing doubt leads to a victory. Now the question is how do we continue to remove doubt on our path of spiritual awakening?
Spiritual Awakening: Applying The Lesson From The Miami Heat!!!
The Heat showed up to remove doubt and to move forward and allow things to flow and everything will be okay. The idea is to now apply this lesson. The next time you find yourself doubting yourself or others remember you are a divine child of GOD with the ability to take action and win in your personal and professional life. The next time you have fear or doubt enter the thought process sit back and breathe and remind yourself that you are capable beyond measure. Your spiritual awakening will unfold and move you in a positive direction when you remove the fear and doubt and allow life to unfold as it may and as GOD has intended. As the Heat mounted their comeback you could sense that there was a strong belief that they were going to win. Others may have been doubting but they knew in their hearts that they could overcome the 27 point deficit and continue on their winning streak. They made a dramatic change and started to hit their outside shots. They also went back to their greatest strength their tough defense. Their tenacity led them to overcome the doubters and to win. The Heat showed us that what the mind can conceive the heart can believe and you can achieve. The Heat will go for win #25 when they host the Detroit Pistons on Friday 3/22/13. What lessons will this game hold?

The greatest lesson I learned from Debbie was to be a giver and to put the right energy behind your giving.
Debbie Ford delivers a message of never giving up and showing gratitude. One great lesson that I highly recommend is keeping a gratitude journal. Being grateful for all we have makes our day flow so much easier. What are you grateful for today?

I was having a conversation with Debbie Ford on her radio show on Wednesday when she mentioned that there is a time to be phony like when she is at a book signing and feeling tired and has to put on the smile and sign more books and take pictures. She also mentioned about going to someone who may be sick and telling them they look okay. I felt like yelling Debbie Wake Up and Be Who You Are. Many times as we are on our path we may find ourself being “PHONY” which at times does serve us, however I find it is best when you are authentic and truthful. If you are truly going to be awakened you have to be true to yourself and others. In many cases you see a need to act a certain way to placate the situation. If you do not derive pleasure from the experience of signing books and can not be enthusastic without having to fake it then you need to change what you are doing. I know that it can be draining to take pictures, sign books, and go to many dinners, however that is what you chose. I ask did you chose this to make money or did you chose this because you truly believe in what you are preaching.
I have stated many time that by being an action taken and fololwing your anthem that you will have an awakening and see how source strikes again. This was evidenced this week as I attended a dinner at The Victory Christian Center in Boca Raton as part of The Celebrate Recovery Program. I was invited by my friend Dale, who I had seen in a while and it was time to catch up and share as we both had just experienced the passing of someone close, for me it was my mother for her her brother. She had told me I was covered, meaning that my meal was free, however when I arrived I took $3 and put it into the donation basket. The evening ended and I didn’t even think about the $3 I donated until yesterday (7/26/12) as I was leaving a client and had just received my check for services rendered when her husband handed me $30. I started to remember the passages that speak about when you give it is returned ten fold. This is what inspired this post Source Strikes Again. Many times we are destined for a calling that source has given us all the tools to pursue and bring to fruition, however we may not be connected or open to receive at that time and as a result we put up road blocks instead of making the connection with source. Some may call it the God Connection, The Jesus Connection, The Source Connection, The Buddha Connection, or something else. The key is that you tap into this amazing power that is inside of you that the world is in desire of. The question now is How To Connect With Source? There are many ways.
