Spiritual Awakening: Being Yourself In The Political Correct World

On question I am asked often is JDOGG how do you stay authentic in this political correct world? I answer as challenging as it is I remain true to myself and loook at my divinity and make sure that I am doing everything to answer the calling of Source. By taking action and being and example of my anthem that service to humanity is the best work of life I find myself answering my calling making the neccessary changes nedded to come alive and be of service and value to the community. It is in the following of dreams and encouraging others to follow their dreams that I am able to cope with the emotions of the political correct world. One of the conversations I had with my mother before she passed was on a concept called fearless painting. The idea is to just paint regardless of the feelings that other may have paint because you feel the emotion and you know what you want the finished product to represent. By going with the flow from source and answering your call and being yourself you will maneuver through this political correct world.

As you can see I am not a fan of political correctness. I am all for tolerance and understanding and getting to know people and to create a world filled with greatness, however I know that I may offend some people along the way. To this I say some will, some won’t, some waiting, so what next. Recently I sent a tweet aboit my fundraising efforts with The American Cancer Society followed by a retweet of a bible verse and I lost 14 followers going from 1560 to 1546. At first I was upset and then I realized that if my passion and commitment doesn’t sit well with people do I want them following me anyway. On Facebook I have a group Get Motivated With Jonathan JDOGG Lederman that at one time had 160 members and today has 145. This is due in part to me not being afraid to speak my mind and stand by the messages that source is delivering.  I have used humor to combat political correctness such as.

She isn’t well endowed she is pectorally enhanced

I am not short I am vertical challenged

He is not retarded he is a developmentally delayed

Spiritual Awakening: Combating Political Correctness With Spirituality

The best thing we can do is to be ourself and to be authentic and to allow others to do the same. I fwe do not agree with something we can express our displeasure in a calm and understanding manner.

When we ground ourselves and realize that we are a shining light to others and that we are all seeking the same thing and that is love and happiness. It iw when you honor your I AM that you can become an inspiration to others by living your life and lifting others up.Political correctness hinders us because we become so concerned with what is right in the eyes of others that we limit ourselves. Regardless of political views everyone has greatness inside them and is a divine being who should be loved.

One technique to combat political correctness is meditation. When you begin to meditate on your thoughts source will deliver answers, you may not like the answers but source is directing you in the direction it knows is best for you. Through meditation you are making a mind, body, soul connection that will help you to be your true self and to best express yourself in this political correct world.

Music can be a great way to remind us to be ourselfwhen it comes to the world of political correctness.

Billy Joel gives us a history lesson in his song We Didn’t Start The Fire. Regardless of where you stood on these issues it is important to remeber that we are all interconnected and that we all have a fire that burns inside of us and it is our repsonsibility to recognize the fire that we all possess.

It is when we put political correctness aside an stop worrying about who is right or wrong that we will find peace.Peace comes from within us and when we stop and realize that everyone has a viewpoint and that noone is absoutely right or absolutely wrong and that we are not here to convince others that our way is correct then we find peace.  It is when we assume an attitude of positivity that we reach our full potential by using our power and our power source for the good of our fellow man and woman.

One way to combat all the political correctness is to find your purpose through prayer, reflection, sharing, being of service and value. Through your own spiritual awakening you will begin to find your power to stand up and give the world a spiritual lift without wondering who might this offend.

Crosby, Stiles, Nash, and Young  expresses the idea of teaching your children well and realizing that they are going to do things that are politically incorrect and that is okay.

As you continue to maneuver this politically correct world make sure you are being your true authentic self.
