Spiritual Awakening: Live Life On Your Terms!!!

As I sat in a presentation from Legal Shield in heard the speaker talk about living life on your own terms and it really resonated with me as it reminded me of the spiritual path I have chosen to take. In living my life on my terms and doing it my way I have had ups and downs. I have experienced the loss of my MOM on July 5, 2012 and my DAD on June 7, 2018 and the one thing that I am grateful for is that I allowed me to live my life on my own terms. They might not have always understood the decisions I made but they allowed me to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually on my own terms. In living life on my own terms I have learned so much like making sure that if you have an elderly parent that they have a will and that you are included on all important documents such as deeds to property, bank accounts, and any other assets that they have. I also learned to make sure they have their final arrangements taken care of so that you have peace of mind and do not incur a major expense when they are called home to GOD.

In understanding that this is your life and it is yours to live ion your terms as directed by GOD you will be able to tune into your Divine Guidance System and create the life that you desire. As you enhance your personal, professional, and spiritual life you will see that living on your own terms may create challenges thus you will want to ask the question of how does this serve my higher self. In serving your higher self you will begin to see more peace,love, joy, and prosperity in your life. There will be times of struggle so just remember if GOD brought you to it GOD will bring you through it. In the last 7 months I have been dealing with many situations that I never saw myself in like having to make a mortgage payment, and paying off a home equity loan as a result of my DAD passing and me needing a roof over my head. I have reached out to help and set up a page at www.paypal.me.jdogg8265 and have had a few people step up. In August of 2018 I had one person step up in a big way to help me and I am grateful that this person walked in his truth and supported me in the manner in which he did. I have asked many others to please use my services as a PA Announcer, an Emcee, a Voice Over Talent or to book a consultation with me and am grateful for those who have stepped up to use my services. There are many out there who could have helped but have not for whatever reason they may have. I have come to learn that there are two types of people in life excuse makers or action takers. You must determine which category you will fall into so as to live life on your terms.

Be Bold And Live Life On Your Own Terms!!!

It is when you commit to living on your own terms and decide to be of service and value to others that your life will change. There will be trials and tribulations thus remember you have the power to change the things you can and accept the things you can not and the wisdom to know the difference. It is in removing the people and things that no longer serve you that you make progress.

As you begin to live life on your own terms you will want to live out loud and walk in your truth. You will encounter doubters, haters, and naysayeers so it is important to ignore them and live your life on your terms. It is also important to also stop your own negative self talk. When you commit to living life on your own terms and move in a positive direction toward your goals and dreams you will find yourself feeling more fulfilled. Spiritual Awakening: Keeping The Fire Burning!!!

On Saturday (8/4/2018) I was out promoting The 2019 American Cancer Society Relay For Life Of Sunrise at The City Of Sunrise Back To School Round-Up. Things were going great and I was have a great time making contacts and sharing Relay For Life with others then bam heat exhaustion got the best of me. I was doing what I liked to do making videos and being of service and value and service to others and my fire was nearly put out. Thank you to the prompt and professional care of Sunrise Fire Rescue I was taken to their emergency vehicle and treated. I was given the all clear and told to go get blood work done, I drove home and thought despite this minor set back I had to keep my fire burning. Today (8/6/2018) I took action and went for the blood work so that I could take the appropriate measures to keep my fire burning.   I learned that the evil one may try to drag you down and take you away from what GOD has planned for you so it is important to stay strong and keep your fire burning. Since the beginning of time those with passion and fire in their heart have gone on to achieve great things just as GOD had intended for them.

You may not have started the fire but you can keep it burning by learning from the past so that you can live in the represent and plan for the future. On may occasions you simply have to get in tune with your inner divine guidance system and commit to keep the fire burning. As you continue to walk your spiritual path make it a point to set fire to the rain.

As you experience a spiritual awakening and decide to become an action taker you must commit to ruling your life. Instead of trying to rule the world your focus should be on how you can improve your personal, professional, and spiritual life thus allowing you the opportunity to enhance the lives of others.  It is up to you to rule your life and follow your heart because what the heart believes and what the mind conceives you can achieve. The truth is that so many times we allow the outside influences of others to dictate our actions or lack of actions that we keep ourselves stagnant. In order to move forward and create the life you want you must stop listening to the outsiders and start listening to yourself so that you can rule your life. In taking command of your life and becoming the ruler of you life you will see that you will attract more peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life and thus you will be able to be of more service and value to others. As we grow we are told by parents, teachers, priests, rabbis, news media, and other sources what to believe and how to conduct ourselves. In listening to these sources we often hold ourselves back from our calling. In holding ourselves back and allowing others to rule us we create blockages that stop us from stepping into our power and achieving greatness. We listen to people tell us you are not good enough or you can’t make a living by doing that, or what can’t you be like everyone else and thus we get stuck sometimes. If you are to get unstuck you must become the ruler of your life.
One of my anthems over the years has been this Billy Joel song, My Life. At the end of the day it is your life and you have the choice to listen to the doubters and the haters or break free and rule your life. It is when you decide to chase your dreams and not to allow others to hold you back that you begin to rule your life thus manifesting what you desire. So many tines people are quick to tell you how you should be living and what you should be doing when they should be worrying about their own lives. When you begin to rule your life and shine your light you begin to illuminate the world. In illuminating the world you can effectively make positive changes that will leave the earth in a better place then you found it. Your taking action to rule your life sends a ripple of positivism that shifts the dynamic of society making improvements that leave a legacy of hope and healing for others.  In ruling your life and dedicating yourself to be a lifter you will be lifted.

Spiritual Awakening: Living The Good Life!!!

 What defines the good life? As I have been awakening more and more spiritually I have come to realize that everyone has their own definition of the good life. My definition is to be in a position to be of service and value to others while living a life on purpose. I have learned that there are two great days in your life the day you are born and the day you find out why. Once you discover your why you will begin to live the good life as you will have the ability to put your passion into action and thus you will find your definition of success. I have found that being grateful for what I have and  not wanting for what I do not have leads to living the good life. Each morning I awake knowing that GOD has given me the opportunity to use my talents for good. With this knowledge I am able to become an action taker and positively impact my life and the lives of others. As I sat in reflection the other day I began to understand that I have had a good life so far and there is much living left to do. I look back on what I have been able to do over the years and realize that many people can say they have been able to do what I have done. As I look at the photographs and recall the memories I can say that despite some trials and tribulations I have had a good life so far.

As you look through your photographs what will you be able to say about your life. It is my hope that you can say that you have had a good life filled with much peace, love, joy, and prosperity. I have come to learn that it is not about the materialistic things you accumulate but it is about the lives that you enrich. For me it is not about the fancy car, the big house, or the designer clothes it is being able to say at the end of each day that I made a difference in someone’s life. I think the good life is defined by the following poem.

Spiritual Awakening: You’re Fired!!!

 

 In pottery in order to strengthen the piece that is being made it is placed into the kiln to be fired and thus it is made stronger and whole.  Such is the case in the spiritual awakening process as we are all put into  GOD’S Kiln to strengthen us and make us whole. It is when we begin to get fired and let go of all of our weaknesses that we become stronger in our faith and our ability to step into the power that GOD has given us so we prosper. While in GOD’s Kiln we will be tested with challenges so that we can become stronger and be available to be of service and value as we make the mind body soul connection creating a oneness consciousness. It is being fired that we move forward and gain strength allowing us to evolve in our spirituality.
When we are filled with the fire of the holy spirit we are capable of  incredible things. It is when this fire begins to consume us and when we fan the flames that we are able to take action on the messages that GOD is sending us. These messages come in all shapes and sizes and in many forms. As you begin to be filled with fire look for the signals and the message and ask GOD what they all mean. Sometimes GOD send you difficult people or challenges so that you learn and overcome thus becoming stronger.  In being filled with fire you begin to see changes that enable you to go forward in the direction of your dreams. Sometimes it is in being filled with GOD’S fire that allows you to come alive and to shine your light for the entire community to see. In shining your light and sharing your passion with others you will allow the fire to spread so that the world around you improves.

Spiritual Awakening: More F Words!!!

One great F Word that you will use and practice during your spiritual awakening will be forgiveness. In forgiving yourself for any decisions that may not have served you properly is the first step in spiritual growth. When you forgive yourself you are able to forgive others for their trespasses and  thus open up a whole new world of opportunity in your spiritual and personal development. Sometimes it can be actions like writing forgiveness letters to yourself and others. The one key element to remember when seeking forgiveness or giving forgiveness is that is makes you and the  other person to do some deep soul searching and some people may not  be ready to peel back the onion and accept the fact that they may have wronged you in some way.  In forgiving and letting go and letting GOD we liberate ourselves from the blockages that may be holding us back. It is when we dig deep into the core issues and release them that we are able to move forward in the positive direction of our goals and dreams. In taking the action to forgive you alleviate many burdens that may have been hindering you from becoming the best you that you can be. When we understand that there will always be doubters, haters, and nay sayers we are able to forgive them and move on creating the life we desire. Many will spend their entire lives pointing fingers which doesn’t serve them. Until they forgive and let go they will remain stuck. Today is your day to become unstuck and to forgive yourself and others so you can turn the page and improve your personal and professional life.

FellowshipAt Broadman , we believe in Christian fellowship . Fellowship is about ... Fellowship is another great F word. When you gather with others for praise and worship and commit to being of service and value you will see that great things begin to happen for you.

For where there are two or three gathered together in My name, I am ...When GOD is in the mix you will see that your life is greatly enhanced. When you surround yourself with lifters and and encourgagers you become empowered and inspired and thus you are able to become a lifter and an encourager. Sometimes it is a simple as just reaching out to another person and offering them a kind word, a listening ear, or a hug. It is amazing what happens when people of like minds get together for the common good of the community.

Spiritual Awakening: The Heat Is On!!!!

 As the final buzzer went off, The Miami Heat were victorious 117 -92 over The Indiana Pacers in Game 6 of The Eastern Conference Finals  Advancing to their 4th straight NBA Finals I kept thinking about how this relates to having a spiritual awakening. The Heat were determined to take strong action after a game five loss. Taking action is an important step in the spiritual awakening process. They saw a deficiency and rather than make excuses they took action to fix it. In the loss The Indian Pacers learn what they need to do to get past The Heat as The Heat has knocked them out of the playoffs for the last 3 years. The Pacers now know that they must make some adjustments. In the spiritual awakening process one will experience loss. In working through the loss you will grow by making adjustments that lead to victory.

 During your spiritual awakening you will become filled with fire that will fuel the energy for you to create the life that you desire. In being consumed with the fire of spirit you will be able to find clarity in purpose as you are creating a oneness consciousness with GOD that will allow you to step into your greatness and achieve the prosperity which is your birthright. As you are consumed by the fire of spirit it is imperative that you write your goals down and that you put a plan of action in place to achieve these goals. As you work toward your goals and answer your  you will find that the heat is on and GOD will continue to feed that heat so the fire is always kindled inside. There will be set back and there will be times that you may want to extinguish the fire. Do not extinguish the fire with in keep in burning because as long as there is one burning ember inside of you a flame can be turned into an inferno thus allowing for great things to happen in your personal and professional life.

 In being immersed in the fire that burns inside  you will begin to light the creative juices that will propel you forward in the positive direction of your dreams. The heat is on side of you and now is the time to turn it up and set a fire inside others. In shining your light and sharing your burning embers you effectively change the world one person at a time. In sharing positivity and being of service and value the fire spread and when the fire spreads for good everyone involved benefits.

Spiritual Awakening: Be A Pyro! Start A Fire!!!!

 

 As I was helping some of the residents of my condo complex turn on the gas grill where the auto igniter did not work I became a fire starter as I took the lighter and hand lit each burner accordingly. I thanked GOD for allowing me to do this safely. As I sat down to write this entry it hit me you can become a pyro and start a fire within yourself that will burn with passion and desire and thus propel you to step into your greatness and share it with the world. I then found a song that I had never heard before by Cascada that fit this theme so perfectly. Again I thanked GOD for his guidance in finding the appropriate videos and songs for this entry.

By starting that fire and continuing to add fuel to it like the lyrics of this Def Leppard song suggests you begin to get what you want because you are following your passion and you keep rolling. It is up to you to reach down inside of your self and become the pyro and start the fire. It is when you start the fire and embrace the fire that you truly begin to unleash your power from the inside out.

Spiritual Awakening: Being Yourself In The Political Correct World

 

On question I am asked often is JDOGG how do you stay authentic in this political correct world? I answer as challenging as it is I remain true to myself and loook at my divinity and make sure that I am doing everything to answer the calling of Source. By taking action and being and example of my anthem that service to humanity is the best work of life I find myself answering my calling making the neccessary changes nedded to come alive and be of service and value to the community. It is in the following of dreams and encouraging others to follow their dreams that I am able to cope with the emotions of the political correct world. One of the conversations I had with my mother before she passed was on a concept called fearless painting. The idea is to just paint regardless of the feelings that other may have paint because you feel the emotion and you know what you want the finished product to represent. By going with the flow from source and answering your call and being yourself you will maneuver through this political correct world.

 

As you can see I am not a fan of political correctness. I am all for tolerance and understanding and getting to know people and to create a world filled with greatness, however I know that I may offend some people along the way. To this I say some will, some won’t, some waiting, so what next. Recently I sent a tweet aboit my fundraising efforts with The American Cancer Society followed by a retweet of a bible verse and I lost 14 followers going from 1560 to 1546. At first I was upset and then I realized that if my passion and commitment doesn’t sit well with people do I want them following me anyway. On Facebook I have a group Get Motivated With Jonathan JDOGG Lederman that at one time had 160 members and today has 145. This is due in part to me not being afraid to speak my mind and stand by the messages that source is delivering.
