Spiritual Awakening: It All Adds Up!!!

    As I celebrated my 55th birthday on August 2, 2020 I sat in reflection and adding numbers and seeing what they meant and then I realized that it all adds up just as GOD has intended. My birth date is 8/2/1965 which when you add comes out to 31 and when you add 3 +1 you get 4 and then today (8/10/2020) I found this song that mentions the number 4. The #$ has been one of my favorite numbers since I was a child. As a result I looked up the meaning of the #4 and this is what I found.

Seeing angel number 4 is a sign from your angels that they are working hard on your behalf. Your angels are contacting you with a message about what you need to do to achieve your goals.

The number 4 is a practical number, and our angels use it to communicate with us about everyday, down-to-Earth concerns.

Unlike angel number 3, which is creative and highly spiritual, angel number 4 can be taken quite literally to mean that your guardian angels are near you, on Earth, working on your behalf.

Angel number 4 is likely to provide you with direct guidance about your life.

Because the number 4 is concerned with practical matters, angelic messages containing angel number 4 may be related to everyday, mundane concerns that may otherwise slip by unnoticed.

Angel number 4 may appear in a variety of ways in your experience, many of which may seem ordinary.

You may notice the number 4 on the clock throughout the day, or it may come up again and again in monetary transactions, the number of messages in your inbox, work-related documents, bills, and invoices.

Seeing angel number 4 may be a message about becoming more organized or diligent in the pursuit of your goals.

When your guardian angels send their guidance, they may use any means to reach you, so keep your mind and heart open to spirit.

The four witnesses of God on earth are miracles, wonders, signs and the gifts of the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 2:4).

 

Therefore, open your mind and heart and prepare yourself to receive their guidance!

Brandon Powell - Football - Florida Gators As I reflected on the #4 I began to see how many times it appears in my life such as the fact that there are 4 downs in football, I went to high school for 4 years and college for 4 years, there are 4 seasons in a year, and also 4 quarters in football. In looking at the amount of times the #$ appears in my life I know that it is time to take action and start to tap into my inner divining thus allowing me to make changes and answer my calling to be of service and value to others.  Now that we know what the #4 means we can better utilize our talents to follow our guides to live a life of joy and to bring joy to others.

Angel number 18 by its recurrence implies that a set of old things are coming to closure and that new prospects are opening up shortly with the help of divine intervention. It is necessary to have self-confidence and trust in the guardian angels if you have to overcome any serious obstacles that may come up during the transition from the old to the new situation. All old things will yield new and better opportunities, and it is up to you to convert them into fabulous objects.

The manifestation of angel number 18 in your life promises that you are becoming more prosperous by the day, and you are leading a fantastic life right now. This requires prompt and right decisions followed by necessary actions, and you should be ready to transform yourself for the new life.

As you can see the numbers add up and allow us to create the life that we desire as long as we heed and act upon the messages that are being delivered to us. It is through the understanding of the numbers that we encounter that we can evolve spiritually, personally, and professionally and therefore help other people to excel as we continue to grow in mind, body, and soul. It is when we look at the numbers that it all adds up. Look at 18 +4 = 22  with 2 +2 = 4. There are four elements which allow for us to .flow with a positive energy which in turn allows us to become the person GOD has intended us to be.

It is through realizing that it all adds up that we are able to embrace the spiritual awakening process and vibrate on a level that brings peace, love, joy, and prosperity into our lives. Stay Positive!!! Namaste!!!

Spiritual Awakening: Shut Up And Deal!!!

As I left The Relay Rally to benefit The 2018 American Cancer Society Relay For Life Of Sunrise last night (1/30/2018) I was a bit disappointed as only 1 team out of the 16 that were registered came out and no one that I had invited showed up. I was feeling pretty down because I had put in many hours to promote the event and even had the Mayor Of Sunrise issue a Proclamation. As I reflected on this disappointment I sat in meditation and received a message to shut up and deal. As an  action taker I have learned that you must detach from the outcomes and continue to walk in your truth knowing that you can not control the actions of others. As I began to focus on the good things that happened like a team captain getting a nice recognition gift and a cancer survivor winning The Relay Sneakers I the disappointment started to melt like the polar ice caps and my heart started to fill with elation knowing that there are people who care so I decided to shut up and deal.
As I decided to shut up and deal I quickly regained the eye of tiger and remembered why I was doing Relay For Life. I was able to rekindle a spark inside and walk in my truth understanding that all I could do was give 100% and continue to follow my heart making a mind, body, soul connection. In focusing on the successes and getting back to being focused and grounded I have been able to shut up and deal. As you put yourself out there you will encounter some set backs but you must shut up and deal and learn from the setbacks so you can step up.

When you decide to shut up and deal and peel back the onion you will find that you rise up to heights that you never though that you could reach. In the wake of disappointment I was able to shift and find elation knowing that for in my 19 years of being involved in Relay For Life that I made a positive impact on the lives of those touched by cancer. There have been more moments of joy than moments of disappointment. When disappointments occurred I simply reflected and then let them go as I knew there would come more joy than sadness.
I have found the best way to overcome disappointment and shut up and deal is to simply walk alone and tap into your inner divinity understanding that you are a divine child of GOD and GOD’S plans for you are far greater than the plans you have for yourself. In walking alone and clearing out the disappointment you release blockages and thus you can move forward by focusing on lies ahead of you and not what lies behind you.
The key to overcoming disappointment and to shut up and deal is to commit to staying on your spiritual path and walking in your truth understanding that not everyone will share your passion and that your ways of doing things may not resonate with everyone. In being true to who you are and following the messages from GOD, The Ascended Masters, The Angels, and Jesus you will find that disappointment is fleeting. In committing to move forward you will find that you begin to attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life.
In the course of the day the best laid plans of mice and men will go astray and when that happens you have to simply roll with the flow. I have come to understand that the way things are and the way things should be are two different things. As I arrived to The ACSOffice Today(1/31/2018) to drop off money for The 2018 American Cancer Society Relay For Life Of Sunrise there was a note that the office would be closed. I was a bit upset as I had informed the staff partner that I would be coming today and didn’t get word from him that the office would be closed. At first I was upset then I decided to go with the flow and come back to the office tomorrow (2/1/2018). I have come to realize that I can only control what I do and to shut up and deal by rolling with the flow. In going with the flow I have been able to put disappointment behind me and move forward in a positive direction of my dreams. There will be times that challenge you but remember that it is through overcoming challenges that you become stronger and thus you are able to accomplish great things. Spiritual Awakening:Time Is Ticking Away!!!

As I sit at my local Starbucks waiting on an appointment that was supposed to be here at 6:30 PM it is now 7:30 PM I think about how important it is to make our moments along our spiritual journey count as the time is ticking away. Imagine if  $525,600 was deposited in your bank account at the beginning of the year and you had to use it all but when it was gone and you could never get it back. That is what time is it is a commodity that once used you can not get back. How many of you are saying oh I’ll d that later or I will do that tomorrow? Today there were many people who were planning to do something tomorrow but because GOD called them home they will not have a tomorrow. This is why it is imperative to become very aware and awake as you continue along your spiritual journey. In the blink of an eye or a snap of the finger our life can change thus we must become action takers and commit to living in the now and when things happen like having someone late for an appointment that GOD had a different plan for us. In my case this evening(6/30/2017) it was an opportunity to get inspiration and to write this blog entry as I was waiting. I could have pointed the blame and brought a whole lot of negative energy to the situation instead I just prayed and hoped that the person I was waiting for was okay. As I was waiting two coaches from The American Basketball Association came in to Starbucks and we were able to catch up for a while and one put a $1 in my donation canister for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Sunrise. It is amazing how everything happens for reason. In being conscious of how we use our time we are better able to embrace the spiritual awakening process and thus better understand that if GOD brought us to it GOD will bring us through it. It is when we keep the negative emotions in check and instead of being angry that someone is running late or didn’t call to tell you they would be late or didn’t respond to your texts you can take it as sign to simply go about delivering your message knowing that everything will work out. Time is ticking away so it is important to use it wisely to be of service and value to others.
Through the spiritual awakening process I have come to understand that every moment you have is precious and thus you should make the most of it and embrace the time that you have to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. It is when we set our mind to being of service and value that we not only change the lives around us but we also change our life. Instead of worrying what might be just look at what is and be grateful for what you have and for what is coming for you as GOD’S plans for you are larger than any plans you may have for yourself.

Spiritual Awakening: Don’t Wait Another Minute!!!

 

How many times have we said along our spiritual path oh I will do that tomorrow and then realizing that there is no time like the present and that time is ticking away. Many times we wish we could turn back time, however it is when we come to understand that we can not go backwards we can only move forward that we awaken more and more to our spirituality. In becoming awake we can take the measures necessary to take action and not wait another minute.
 As I stated we may wish to turn back time but what is done is done so me must move forward by seeking forgiveness and forgiving ourselves. It is in the process of reflection that we can move along our spiritual path and leave our past behind us while living in the present and making a bright future. As we gleam from the past we will find shining moments taht we can draw from that will energize us and propel us to find peace, love, joy, and prosperity.

Each year I watch March Madness and on the final night when they play One Shining Moment I am reminded that all the credit goes to the person who is in the arena. It is when we take action and step into the arena detaching from the outcome that we grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. Through this growth we become better and thus we make the world around us better. There will be bumps and bruises along the way but it is how we face these obstacles that determine how high we will soar when we allow GOD to place us in the arena.

Spiritual Awakening: Making Changes!!!

 

 I had today (3/7/2015) all planned out and then all my well laid plans went astray. I went to the barber shop and my barber was not there, he’ll be back at 10 AM tomorrow. I went to the movie theater and it was closed for renovations. It was at that moment that I noticed a car show going on and I was wearing a Relay For Life Shirt and had a collection canister in the car. I took a deep breath as I have learned through the spiritual awakening process and asked GOD what I should do. The answer was change plans and solicit donations for The Relay for Life. I did just that. After collecting donations I asked GOD what next? The answer was to go to Starbucks and work on follow up for Relay For Life. I now sit at the Starbucks working on this blog entry with one of my Tokens of Appreciation from www.tofa.us to give out. I have a n idea of who will get today’s but as today showed me don’t be to dependent on your plans as they will change. I have learned long my spiritual path that GOD has the master plan and he will direct you. Sometimes one has to detach from the plans you made and allow GOD to direct you to take the action he seeks you to take. many times as we experience our spiritual awakening we need to simply let go and let GOD. In making plans one has to also agree to be flexible if those plans go astray. In consulting with GOD, Jesus, our angels, and the ascended masters we will receive the messages to direct our actions that create the vibrations that lead to our lives being filled with peace, love, joy, and prosperity. many times our plans do not fit into our calling for the day and GOD sets things in motion for us that are more aligned with our calling and our life’s purpose. In accepting the fact that we must adapt and change according to what GOD has in store we create a greater oneness consciousness that allows us to come alive and help our community while also helping ourselves.

 Many times GOD makes changes to our plans to show us a better way. When we trust in GOD everything works out and many times they work out for the better.  When we detach from the plans and we understand that GOD has better things in store for us we begin to attract more positive experiences in our personal and professional lives. When we seek GOD’s direction and remove our emotions from the equation we are able to move forward in  the positive direction of our dreams. The fact remains that GOD will show the way you must be willing to follow the path he has set out and not get so set on your plans that you allow disappointment and the negative energy sucking emotions like anger creep into to your life as they lessen the vibrational levels that bring peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life.

Spiritual Awakening: Miami Dolphins Need A Dose Of Spirituality!!!

 

 Since moving to South Florida in 1972 and having Earl Moral as my youth optimist football coach I have been a fan of The Miami Dolphins. In a brutal sport like football it is very difficult to carry your spirituality onto the field of play. The events of the recent week between Jonathan Martin and Richie Incognito has brought to light for all players to awaken spiritually. When a player has a spiritual awakening they begin to realize that they are connected to the team and thus they have a responsibility to recognize the divine in each other despite the fact that they play a violent game where the objective is to knock your opponent off the ball and score or to stop your opponent from scoring.  Today a dose of spirituality is needed for the Miami Dolphins so they can regroup and come together as a cohesive unit and put a winning effort forward.

 Right now The Dolphins are far away from the glory days that had them winning Super Bowls and consistently in the playoffs. The teams of the 70’s and early 80’s had what is called chemistry. I like to call it a spiritual connection where they understand that everyone was divinely connected and when they worked in unison and came together as one they won. There was something special about the teams of Griese, Czonka, Warfield, Morris, Kick, Scott, Anderson, and Bonocotti.  Those teams seemed to respect each other and knew that they were all part of something bigger than football. Today’s players seem to care only about themselves as illustrated by the recent incident between Incognito and Martin. Many have said but that is the culture of The NFL. I say it is time to change this culture as it is leading to many issues and make players understand that their actions are now magnified in the press and that it is time to make a mind, body, soul connection and start to lift each other up to excel as a team. An awakening is definitely in order as these players have been given a calling that is much larger than football.

Spiritual Awakening: Out Of The Comfort Zone And Into The Positive Zone!!!

 

 When we step out of our comfort zone and we challenge ourselves we find ourselves expanding personally and professionally.  It is when we find our power and strength that we are able to move courageously forward in the positive direction of our dreams. Today I was set to help with The Most Valuable Protégés Basketball Clinic, www.mvpinc.org. I showed up to the gym early and the AYFL Cheerleading Competition was taking place so I stepped out of my comfort zone and parked away form the gym and walked to the gym. Something told me to grab my collection canister for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life.  I then walked tot he gym and I sought out the announcer so I could make an announcement about collecting donations for Relay For Life. They allowed me to make the announcement and most of the audience was receptive and made donations. I then noticed that a lacrosse tournament was going on so I decided to walk to fields and ask people watching the games for donations. Most were  receptive and donated. I then made my way over the basketball clinic as it was moved to the outdoor courts.  It was by stepping out of my comfort zone and listening to the message of source that I was able to have success.

 I have found by giving a new positive energy to something and coming from a position of gratitude that I achieve success. Look at the  way you are doing things and the results you are getting and if the results are not to your liking  make a shift on how you are doing things and the energy you are bringing to them. The key to getting into the positive zone is to understand the spiritual awakening that you are having and to follow the messages tat you are being given and get into a positive flow.

 How many times do you say you are  doing the best you can instead of stepping out of that comfort zone and pushing yourself to the positive zone.  I recently felt really tired and drained when collecting donations for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life. I was a bit discouraged that people weren’t visiting http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg1. I switched the discouragement to gratitude and began to push myself to come from a position of gratitude. It was at that point that I began to have more success with my fundraising.  Now when I feel like giving in and stopping I remember why I am collecting for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life.  As I enter the positive zone GOD provides me with opportunities to fundraise such as today with The AYFL Cheerleading Competition and The Lacrosse Tournament. The messages to allow us to succeed are all around us. It is important to become an action taker and follow the messages. It is when you follow the messages and step out of the comfort zone that you move into the positive zone.

   Today would have been my mother’s 74th birthday. My mom, Judith Miller, was a strong woman who for 3 1/2 years battled non-operable metastatic lung cancer and on July 5, 2013 due to complications from a massive heart attack was called home to GOD. As followers of this blog and those who know me know that my mom and I were very close. I am honoring her memory by creating a legacy of hope for those affected by cancer by participating in The American Cancer Society Relay For Life and have set up a website at http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg1 where people can make donations or you can click on the donate page here.

 During one of our walks with her dog, Charlie, we began to talk about Inner Strength. My mom said to me “Jonathan it is all about your BS (belief system) if you don’t believe in yourself none will believe in you.” I thought about this as we walked and as we discussed what it takes to truly find your inner strength I realized that part od the spiritual awakening process is to peel back the onion and discover how strong you truly are. We returned to her house and we sat out on the patio for a bit and we discussed life in general. I asked her “Mom how do you do it, you have faced adversity and you continue to overcome.” Her answer was “Jonathan I had to be strong for you kids and by being strong for you I became stronger.” I guess this is where my ability to be a lifter of others comes from as my mom was a lifter and an encourager. My mom was the first to mention meditation to me. She was the one to gift me Don Miguel Ruiz’s The Four Agreements. I credit my mom who is now my angel in heaven for putting me on a spiritual path and for helping me to find an inner strength. It is in finding our inner strength that we gain the courage to take action, adopt anthems, and experience a spiritual awakening that enhances our personal and professional lives.

Spiritual Awakening: Unleashing Your Inner Don Quixote!!!

 One of my favorite Operas/musicals is Man Of La Mancha. The character, Don Quixote, was fighting windmills. The windmills represented the inner demons that he was facing. As I listened to the music and began to understand the message being deliver I discovered just like Don Quixote many of us are experiencing a spiritual awakening. We are waking up and becoming aware that we have greatness inside of us and that our light is meant to shine bright and thus we are becoming action takers. We are beginning to adopt anthems and thus unleashing our inner Don Quixote and showing others that they can step into their greatness and become who they desire to be. Don Quixote was doubted by many, chastised by others, however he stuck to his mission and taught us about pursuing dreams and being a leader in our personal and professional lives.  In awakening we unleash that inner Don Quixote and we leave all the doubters and naysayers behind as we pursue the purpose that we have discovered. It is when we fully commit to our quest that we begin to understand our calling and thus enhance our personal and professional lives while being of service and value to others. A change occurs when you come alive and embrace the spiritual awakening that you are experiencing. There will be battles that are won and battles that are lost and each one will teach us valuable lessons along our path.

Don Quixote had his loyal servant Sancho to encourage him and move him in the direction of his dreams. Who do you have in your circle that is lifting you? How are you being a lifter?  A strong belief in your self and others will propel you positively along your spiritual path towards enlightenment thus allowing you to experience the joy that comes from being surrounded by encouragers and lifters while also becoming a lifter.

 Many will doubt your dreams and do what they can to discourage you. My advice is do not listen to them and unleash your inner Don Quixote and pursue the dream. To pursue your dream takes courage. There are many stories about those who did not let the naysayers win and pursued their dreams and as a result have found joy, an inner peace, and abundance. Some will say oh they were lucky, others will say oh that can never be me, while others will say if they can do it I can do it.  The journey starts when you are committed to following your dream. It is when you write it down in the form of I will and start to take action steps towards that goal.

Spiritual Awakening: Turning The Page!!!!

 As I turned the calendar to represent the beginning of a new month I looked back to the time when I had my first spiritual awakening and I begin to understand that each day we have a chance to turn the page. We have the opportunity to become an action taker and release all that no longer serves us as we awaken spiritually. In the spiritual awakening process turning the page is essential as it allows for personal and professional growth. A coach of mine Shantel Smith has taught me through my own spiritual awakening to go to places where I am appreciated not tolerated. In turning the page I have severed a few ties that do not serve me in my quest to expand personally, professionally, or spiritually. In desiring to make a mi, body, soul connection I have learned that each day is a chance to have a spiritual awakening and to turn the page.  In turning the page and being honest with yourself you begin to awaken spiritually and thus step into your power. In turning the page and making a conscious decision to live for the day you begin to find the inner joy and inner peace that you have been seeking.  In turning the page and putting the past behind you you find a freedom to move  forward. As you move forward and let the past go you begin to come alive and understand that it is your life to live and that you are guided by GOD thus you begin to experience goodness.
